John Yoshihara – Loan Consultant

I graduated from San Jose State with a degree in Business Marketing and stepped straight into this industry. Since then I have been a part of it in one way or another and believe in always doing what’s best for my clients.

Having lived in area all my life, I really understand the area. More than just knowing where to buy a home, I know about the schools, the pros and cons of different cities and the personality of various neighborhoods. When balancing all this with the realities of one’s budget, there are many things to take into consideration. I help my clients sort through what they want to make sure they get what they need.

I naturally get along very well with people and find it easy to communicate with just about anyone. I am loyal as the day is long and go out of my way to provide the absolute best service to my clients. I love seeing a client qualifies for the loan program they want; especially when they might have been on the border for getting approved. It’s all about taking specific steps and doing everything possible along the way to make sure that can happen.

I like to really get to know people so I can best match them with loan products that will help them reach their goals, while being mindful of what people can actually afford. As a result, I am often the voice of reason. It may not be exactly what they want to hear in that moment, however, in the long run clients appreciate my candor and know I always have their best interest at heart.

Outside the office, travel is one of my passions. Since I love to spend time with my family, I am fortunate that they all like to travel and are quite the spontaneous bunch. While I have done a fair bit of travelling in my life, my current aim is to see all 50 states. If I can manage to see a major sports team play in each state, that would be icing on the proverbial cake. This brings me to my number one hobby, sports. I played baseball at San Jose State, semi-pro baseball after that and coached my four kids in organized youth baseball… Perhaps you can see the love.

I think it comes down to people. I really love people. It’s probably one of the reasons I like to travel, why I love coaching and so thoroughly enjoy the work I do. If you have any questions about the area and are looking for the type of experience a life-long resident brings to the table, I am happy to talk with you. Please call at your convenience.
