Felix Enow – Mortgage Planner

Having lived in the area for 25years I know a thing or two about what makes San Jose tick. Having graduated with a degree in economics, I got my start in the industry by selling real estate. From there I moved into in real estate management and in doing so gained knowledge in all aspects of the business. My work as a Mortgage Planner has been a natural extension of my earlier experience and I have been writing loans for area residents for over seven years.

I am known for the work I do with first time home buyers and have a real knack helping them navigate the process of purchasing their first property. I thoroughly enjoy seeing the look of satisfaction that comes across a client’s face when they first realize that they have done it; they are home owners. I think sometimes they are genuinely surprised that it’s real. Something they thought was so far out of their reach is now in their hands in the form of keys to their new home. I just love being a part of that.

I also know a great deal about FHA loans. That reminds me of a client I had in recent years. He was on the edge of retirement and kept trying to get a VA loan. Every time he would apply, something about his credit would pop up unexpectedly and he would get turned down. I was determined to help him. When his most recent application was denied because of changes in the VA loan rules during the application process, I went another route. I worked to find him money through the city of San Jose that he was able to use toward his down payment and qualify for an FHA loan. Sometimes it just comes down to determination and problem solving.

After work you are likely to catch me coaching my little girl’s soccer team. It is truly a blessing to do so. I feel very fortunate to spend that time with her and watch her grow on the field and off. I’ve recently taken up reading and look forward to doing more of that and one day… one day, I would love to go to Rome. To visit the Vatican would be an amazing thing for me.

As I think about it, perhaps part of the reason first time home buyers like working with me is because I relate to their experience. The joy of owning a home or raising a family… they are both things you can look at and say, “Wow, who knew? I never thought it would be possible… And it here is.” It’s a real accomplishment.
